I’m a book designer with 20+ years experience in creative fields. For the past 10 years I have been designing print material with children’s books being my main focus. I was a lifestyle editor for American Girl magazine for many years. My love for publishing runs deep!

Some of my favorite recent projects include interactive journals for kids and adults. I love coming up with a vision for a book and making it come to life on the page!

I have solid experience with the following:
• Designing books for kids' and adults' genres (non-fiction is my favorite!)
• Designing marketing collateral to promote book titles
• Creating sample pages that win over publishing marketing teams
• Developing color palettes and graphic toolboxes for book projects
• Working with Adobe Creative Suite
• Brainstorming: I can never resist a good brainstorm session!

I pride myself on never missing a deadline and working quickly to meet the demands of the fast-paced world of publishing. My favorite part of design is collaborating with the client. I love working with them to create something that we're both proud of. I'm creative, I love tackling new projects and I am generally a really nice gal.
